Loyal School District Holds First Strategic Task Force Planning Meeting

The School District of Loyal held its first Strategic Task Force planning meeting Wednesday evening, January 8th.
The committee was made up of approximately 58 community members that participated. The committee consisted of students, staff members, parents, businesspeople, and city council members.
Chris Lindner, Superintendent, kicked off the meeting with an introduction and thanked all the members that committed to the work of this committee. The remainder of the session was facilitated by Dr. Claire Martin, an educational consultant for Nexus Solutions.
Information was shared about the purpose and benefits of Strategic Planning, along with an overview of the process. The participants worked to answer the following three questions:
- What great things are happening at Loyal?
- What are the biggest challenges facing Loyal?
- What program, activity or facility changes are needed to ensure future student achievement and District success at the School District of Loyal?
Based on the responses, themes will be identified and prioritized at the second Task Force meeting to be held Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, in the Loyal High School gym at 6:00 pm.
