Marshfield Woman Arrested for Possession of Various Drugs

The Marshfield Police Department contacted Probation and Parole after they received information that a 40-year-old woman had given their 14-year-old daughter suspected marijuana.

The Department responded to a home on S. Cedar Ave. on Monday, January 13th at 10:47am. While taking the 40 year old female into custody, the female ran to the bathroom and attempted to hide controlled substances.

Suspected cocaine was recovered from the bathroom. A search pursuant to Act 79 was conducted in the female's bedroom which lead to quantities of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, THC, methamphetamine and cocaine.

The female was transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
