CITY TO AUCTION OFF PARTS OF HOME
Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 -- 12:53 PM
After failing to find someone to move the house and barn, the city of Neillsville will try to get rid of a house they own in the Industrial Park one piece at a time.Well, not entirely.
But, the City Council discussed opening the brick house up and letting people make sealed bids on components of the home, such as cabinets, molding and rails.
No date has been set, so keep your eyes open.
The city bought the property for $100,000.
Also Tuesday, the city replaced longtime Library Board member Pat Johnson with Don Abel. While Johnson hasn't submitted her resignation, she has moved out of the area.
