Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 -- 12:49 PM
It looks like most cable subscribers will finally get to watch the Big Ten Network.Charter Communications, which serves Neillsville, Marshfield and many other local communities, has reached a deal with the network.
In a joint statement issued this morning, the Big Ten Network and Charter said they were working together in an attempt to ensure that the majority of the systems that Charter operates "can launch the network on its expanded basic level of service in time for Satuday's Big Ten college openers."
One of those games, of course, is the University of Wisconsin-University of Akron game this Saturday at Camp Randall in Madison.
Time Warner and Comcast have also announced agreements.
