Pittsville Teen Arrested for Possession

A Pittsville teen was arrested for possession in Marshfield early Sunday morning.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, around 1:13am on Sunday, January 5th, an officer observed a vehicle inside Wildwood Park after hours. A traffic stop was conducted on this vehicle.

During the traffic stop, K9 Mario alerted to the odor of a controlled substance inside the vehicle. The driver, an 18-year-old Pittsville male, was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail.

Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office for Possession of THC, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Felony Bail Jumping.
