Monday, August 25th, 2008 -- 11:25 AM
Wood County is reportedly looking to go to 4-day workweeks to save money. The Marshfield NewsHerald's website says the idea of four, 10-hour days is being floated by board chairman Lance Pliml, who was approached by several employees.
So far, the response inside the county government has been mixed.
Pliml wants to know what the public thinks.
Committees have formed to look at the ramifications. In order to save money, the county courthouse would only be open 4 days a week.
Residents with opinions can fill out a survey at the county clerk's office.
