(Wisconsin Radio Network) -A major winter weather event could be on the way early next week.
UW – Madison Professor of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Jon Martin says a pretty decent snow event early in the week could be followed by the coldest air we’ve seen in Wisconsin in the last few winters with overnight lows in the minus teens and twenties.
Martin says despite a relatively mild winter so far, the next six to eight days will be a cold reminder of how harsh Wisconsin winters can be.
