Hixton Man Sentenced for 5th OWI

A Hixton man arrested for his 5th OWI was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Monday.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, on January 28th of 2024, Randall Flick of Hixton was pulled over on WIS 95 for speeding. The trooper noticed signs of impairment and a field sobriety test was conducted, which showed signs of impairment.
After he was taken to the hospital for further testing, he was taken to the Jackson County Jail. During his court appearance on Monday, he pleaded guilty to 5th OWI and bail jumping.
Another charge was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion and another was dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 3 years of extended supervision.
