Marathon County Sheriff’s Corrections Division Members Complete Jail Officer Academy

This week, five Marathon County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division members graduated from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Jail Officer Academy at Northcentral Technical College.
The five-week academy equips Corrections Officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for inmates in our Jail. Congratulations to Corrections Officer Sarah Bacon, Corrections Officer Alya Bushman, Corrections Officer Madisen Palmerton, Corrections Officer Kierstin Rench, and Corrections Officer Ben Salawater.
The Department is grateful for their dedication and service to the community. Additionally, two Marathon County Sheriff's Office Deputies graduated from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Law Enforcement Academy at the same ceremony.
The 17-week academy prepares sworn Law Enforcement professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to begin their careers serving our community. Congratulations to Deputy Adam Lieders and Deputy Nathaniel Scheel.
