Marshfield Police Department Investigating “Jackpotted” ATM at Simplicity Credit Union

(Thomas Schumacher, WSAU and WAOW) The Marshfield Police Department is investigating after tens of thousands of dollars were stolen from a “jackpotted” ATM over the weekend, according to Thomas Schumacher to WSAU and WAOW.
According to a police investigation, robbers put a malicious hard drive on the ATM at Simplicity Credit Union, allowing them to withdraw significant amounts of money. The bank manager told authorities that the total amount taken was between $60,000 and $100,000.
