Neillsville District Administrator Releases Statement Regarding Recent Shooting at Wisconsin School

Neillsville District Administrator John Gaier released the following statement regarding the recent school shooting that occurred in Wisconsin.

“As you may be aware, there was a terrible tragedy at Abundant Life Christian School earlier this week. According to police, there are multiple fatalities and injuries."

"We are shocked and deeply saddened by the news of these events. Our hearts go out to the Abundant Life Christian School community as they deal with this unspeakable loss."

"We know kids, teens, and adults alike will process news like this in different ways. Counselors are available at each of our buildings to assist students who may need some extra support. We encourage students to stop by the counseling office at any time.”

“School should be a place where students feel safe, secure, and welcomed. We want everyone in our school community to know that our schools are safe, and we have stringent safety and security protocols in place to protect our students, staff, and guests."
