Marshfield Police Department Responds to Home Invasion Monday

The Marshfield Police Department responded to a home invasion on Monday.

According to a report from the Department, on Monday, December 16th around 9pm, officers were dispatched to a report of a male who broke into an apartment on E. 9th Street in Marshfield and threatened the residents with a firearm.

Officers located two involved parties a short distance away and both were taken into custody. One party was in possession of a firearm. Both arrested individuals were transported to the Wood County Jail.

Several charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office for both individuals.
