Marathon County Sheriff’s Department and Other Law Enforcement Agencies Host Shop with a Cop Event

On Sunday afternoon, Marathon County Sheriff's Office staff, local Police Departments and Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol hosted the annual Shop with a Cop event at Target in Weston.

This event is only possible through the generous community donations they receive and the efforts of local law enforcement professionals who raise funds each year to take 50 kids from the community Christmas shopping. Once again, this year was a huge success.

After the kids were done shopping and visiting with Santa, they were invited to Pizza Ranch to have lunch with their officer. The Sheriff's Office extends their appreciation to Target stores and Pizza Ranch in Weston for their support and assistance with this project.

They also want to thank their local law enforcement partners, Marathon County Department of Social Services and the local school districts who help make this event happen each year.
