The Highground Veterans Memorial Holds Another Successful Quilt Raffle

On Tuesday, December 3, hopeful quilt ticket holders joined staff members in the new Welcome Center as 32 winning tickets were drawn for The Highground’s Annual Patriotic Quilt Raffle.
It was great to have quilters and ticket holders from all across Wisconsin participate in this unique fundraiser. The Highground received 32 creative, handcrafted quilts of assorted sizes. Not all were red, white, and blue, but all of them reflected their patriotism.
Over 590 tickets were sold, which raised $1,930. This special fundraiser supports various necessities that will allow The Highground to continue to provide veteran programming. This fundraiser continues to be successful because of the generosity of many talented quilters and everyone who purchased raffle tickets.

Supporters are invited to keep an eye out in the coming months for information about next year’s annual Quilt Raffle. Once tickets arrive, they will be available for purchase up until the raffle drawing on December 3, 2025.
