NEILLSVILLE STUDENTS DO WELL ON ACT

The Marshfield NewsHerald reports Neillsville was one of only a handful of area school districts that scored above the average state ACT score in 2007-08.The ACT is a popular college entrance exam.
Neillsville's average score was 22.6; the average score in the state was 22.3.
Marshfield Columbus and Medford also topped the statewide average.
Colby students averaged 21.9; Granton students average 21.4; and Spencer kids averaged 20.9.
Loyal and Greenwood high schools did not provide results for the report, but those results will be available on line in the next few days.
