If Gifting a Bicycle This Year, Include the Safety Gear

(Wisconsin Radio Network) If you’re planning on gifting a child’s bike this holiday, don’t forget the safety gear.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, Dr. Benjamin Orozco with Gundersen Health says helmets and pads are a must. If you’re unsure of what size safety gear a child will need, gift a gift card along with the bike or scooter so family members can help pick out the right size for the child.

Also, be sure you’re not buying gifts with small parts if there are small children in the home.
