Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Report of a Shed Fire

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to the report of a barn fire around 6:30pm this morning.

The fire occurred at W5724 Panther Creek Road in the Township of Weston.  When the department arrived, they discovered it was a shed on fire.  The shed was filled with round bales of corn stalks and round/square bales of hay. The department was on scene for just over 6 hours.

They received mutual aid from the Granton Fire Department, with a full response, the Loyal and Greenwood Fire Departments, with water, and the Neillsville Ambulance Service.  They had no injuries on their part and the shed is a total loss.
