Woman Sentenced for High Speed Chase

A woman arrested after a high speed chase that began in Tomah was sentenced in Monroe County Court.
According to court records, Sarah Fast got into a high speed chase with authorities, reaching speeds of 125mph, and was weaving in and out of traffic. The chase eventually ended when she crashed into a semi and got wedged under the axel.
Fast pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety and fleeing or eluding an officer. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison followed by 1 year of extended supervision.
