Alma Center Man Sentenced for Possession and Aiding a Felon

An Alma Center man was arrested in connection to a Jackson County drug investigation and homicide was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Tuesday.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, on January 31st of 2023, around 9:01am, they searched an address on South Alma Center Road, in the Town of Alma, in Jackson County in regard to a drug investigation.
During the search, 1.1 ounces of a crystalized substance, money, and firearms were found. The substance tested positive for meth. The home belonged to Milton Haskins Jr. of Alma Center. He was also arrested for having a connection to the homicide investigation of 51-year-old Richard Lee Bork of Black River Falls.
All together, Haskins was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent - amphetamine/methamphetamine, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and harboring and aiding a felon.
Several other charges were dismissed and read in. In total, he was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of extended supervision.
