Marshfield Man Arrested for 6th OWI

A Marshfield man was arrested for his 6th OWI.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, around 11:39am on Saturday, November 23rd, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 4th Street and Oak Avenue.

A K9 Unit alerted to the scent of a controlled substance inside the vehicle. The driver, a 65-year-old Marshfield male, performed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

The driver consented to a blood draw and was taken to the Marshfield Medical Center. He was later taken to the Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested for OWI 6th offense through the Wood County District Attorney's Office.
