Neillsville School Board Approves Budget Modifications

The Neillsville School Board approved some budget modifications at their meeting on Monday.
Neillsville District Administrator John Gaier explained that when they start figuring out their budget earlier in the year, they use some estimated numbers provided by the State of Wisconsin.
Once more solid numbers are calculated in October, they provide those numbers to the District, which caused the Neillsville District to have to make some modifications to their budget numbers.
Some modifications of note include a:
- Decrease to Fund 10 source 200 Revenues from $4,754,266 to $4,192,525 (-$561,741);
- Increase to Fund 10 source 600 Revenues from $6,581,084 to $7,195,512 ($614,428);
- Increase to Fund 10 source 700 Revenues from $240,901 to $241,097 ($196.00);
- Increase Fund 10 Total Revenues from $12,246,932 to $12,299,815 ($52,883);
- Increase to Fund 10 function 100000 Expenses from $5,144,309 to $5,236529 ($92,220);
- Increase to Fund 10 function 200000 Expenses from $4,740,923 to $4,805,560 ($64,637);
- Decrease to Fund 10 function 400000 Expenses from $2,361,700 to $2,360,200 (-$1,500);
- Increase Fund 10 Total Expenses from $12,246,932 to $12,402,289 ($155,357);
- Increase to Fund 27 source 500 Revenues from $1,535,789 to $1,553,364 ($17,575);
- Increase Fund 27 Total Revenues from $3,011,163 to $3,028,738 ($17,575);
- Increase Fund 27 Expenses from $3,011,163 to $3,028,738 ($17,575);
- Increase to Fund 49 Expenses from $4,263,000 to $5,763,000 ($1,500,000);
- Increase to Fund 50 Expenses from $740,148 to $741,518 ($1,370).
