Eleven talented students from both the Tomah High School and Middle School bands were selected to represent their schools at the Western Wisconsin Honor Band event, held at Holmen High School.
This prestigious opportunity brought together young musicians from across the region for a day filled with intensive rehearsals, focused instruction, and collaborative learning.
The students were divided into two groups based on their grade levels, with each group receiving specialized coaching from experienced conductors and music educators.
These sessions provided valuable insights into advanced music techniques, helping the students refine their skills and grow as musicians. High School students chosen were Annie Jungmeyer, Joanna Stryker, Alyssa Marth, and Caden Rowan.
Middle School students chosen were Delilah Abbott, Carter Anderson, Olivia Conzemius, Ethan Gigous, Seth Gordon, Molly Olson, and Preston Stryker.
After a full day of practice and preparation, the students came together for a grand finale: a performance in front of an audience. The concert was the culmination of all their hard work, showcasing the dedication and talent of the honor band members.
Each student contributed their best effort, and the final result was a truly impressive musical performance. The District wants to extend their heartfelt congratulations to all of these exceptional students for their commitment, perseverance, and the remarkable effort they put into this experience.
Their participation in the Western Wisconsin Honor Band is a testament to their passion for music and their potential as young musicians.
