C2 Makerspace Introduces New Nonprofit Manager

Tuesday, November 19th, 2024 -- 10:01 AM

C2 Makerspace proudly introduces Amy Guidry as the new Nonprofit Manager.

In this pivotal role, she will focus on fostering partnerships with local school districts, and industry and nurturing a vibrant volunteer base to enhance the extracurricular educational experiences of youth in Central Wisconsin.

C2 Makerspace is dedicated to promoting innovation and hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for youth in the community.

With Amy at the helm, the organization aims to strengthen connections with educational institutions and engage local volunteers to enrich programming and support diverse learning opportunities.

“Amy brings exceptional experience in community engagement and administrative management, making her an invaluable addition to our team,” said Kylan Hastreiter, Board Member of Shiloh Bound, the 501(c)3 nonprofit that operates C2.

“We are excited for Amy to lead our efforts in expanding our reach.” A native of Phillips, WI, Amy moved to Marshfield after high school graduation and has come to enjoy the small-town atmosphere Marshfield has to offer.

Amy attended Mid-State Technical College for her associates degree in secretarial science and Lakeland University for her bachelor’s degree in business management.

She has worked for various companies in Marshfield, including UW Marshfield/Wood County, Genesis Health Care, Security Health Plan, and Marshfield Clinic Health System, where she most recently worked with the residency and fellowship programs.

“I am thrilled to join C2 Makerspace and to collaborate with our local schools and volunteers,” said Amy. “Together, we can create engaging experiences that ignite curiosity and provide essential skills to prepare our youth for the future workforce.”

C2 Makerspace invites educators, community members, and local businesses to partner with us in our mission. By working together, we can create impactful learning experiences and support the development of the next generation of innovators and leaders.
