Smalls is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.
Name: Smalls
Age: 9-Years-Old
Breed: Mixed Breed
Meet Smalls, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Smalls came to CCHS after being removed from less-than-ideal living conditions by the authorities in September.
This 9-year-old Mixed Breed is quite the spunky, little guy looking for a calm, loving home to settle into retirement in. Smalls is indeed a rather small guy, weighing in at just 8.5#.
Smalls is on a soft food diet as he had to get quite a few teeth pulled by our vet staff due to decay from years of neglect for his health. Smalls was very shy and scared when he first came to the Shelter from a lack of socialization.
But he has become much braver during his time at the Shelter and now has the confidence to greet people at the front of his pen. Smalls just needs someone with a gentle hand and a loving heart to ease his old soul. Apply for Smalls today!
You can submit your adoption application for Smalls on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/ applying-to-adopt. We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!
Save the Date! Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to CCHS this year for Pet Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus! They will be at the Shelter on December 7th from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
They do a wonderful job and are happy to take pictures with all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to rats and goats! Pictures are then available for purchase as prints, email or on a flash drive. So bring your pets and make some great Holiday memories! More details are available on our website.
You can learn more about, and adopt, Smalls, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
