Man Arrested for Possession After Traffic Stop in Marshfield

A man was arrested for possession after a traffic stop in Marshfield Monday night.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on Monday, November 11th around 8:20pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop on E. Veteran’s Parkway.

The K-9 unit was requested. K-9 Mario alerted to the presence of a controlled substance in the vehicle. Officers located green leafy plant material and a large quantity of a white powdery substance.

The white powder tested positive for cocaine and the green leafy substance tested positive for THC. The 50 y/o male was arrested and transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
