Marshfield Man Arrested for OWI and Possession

A Marshfield man was arrested after striking a traffic light.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on Saturday, November 9th, around 12:30am, an officer with the Department was advised by an individual that a truck just struck a traffic light at the intersection of Doege Street and Central Avenue.

The officer located the involved truck. A traffic stop was conducted and field sobriety tests were conducted. A 43-year-old Marshfield male was arrested for OWI, possession of THC with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A blood draw was completed and the man was medically cleared and later transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney.
