Dorchester Woman to Compete in Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest

A Dorchester woman will be competing in the Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4th.

Kathryn Tesch will be taking place in the contest, which will take place on Coney Island in front of an audience.  Tesch, a dairy farmer and Air Force Staff Sergeant, is ranked 44th in the world by Major League Eating.

Tesch has competed in the contest before. In 2019 she ate 10.5 hot dogs and came in 10th place. And in 2018 she ate eight hot dogs and came in 12th place.
