Thorp FFA Students Attend Fire Conference

Thorp FFA students attended the FIRE Conference last week.

The FIRE Conference Foundations in Reaching Excellence is designed for beginning FFA members Grades 5 through 9. At the conference, students learn valuable information about the FFA organization and develop self-confidence in meeting other members.

State FFA Officers plan and conduct these one-day conferences. Topics such as leadership development, FFA opportunities and programs, developing an SAE, and learning about the FFA organization is all in fun-filled, hands-on workshops.
