Acorn is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Acorn

Age: 6-Months-Old

Breed: Beagle

Meet Acorn, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Acorn came to CCHS when she was abandoned just down the road from the Shelter with 8 other dogs. She is about 6 months old, weighs 25#, and has now been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Acorn is a typical happy-go-lucky Beagle.

She is friendly and quite social with people. She has a tri-colored short-haired coat with soft floppy ears. She has those super engaging warm brown eyes, too. Acorn is hoping to find a new forever home soon, and she promises to share lots of good times with her new family.

With all young dogs, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the adoption. You can submit your adoption application for Acorn on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Acorn, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
