Marathon County Seniors Accidentally Given Scam Phone Number for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program

Seniors in Marathon County applying for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program were provided an incorrect phone number.

And that number was a scam phone number. A representative from the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin said that customers who were given that number were asked for financial information.  They have reported the number to the FTC.

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program is free. The program is new to Marathon County and can help seniors gain access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs from local farmers’ markets.
