Hugo is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Hugo

Age: 4-Years-Old

Breed: Collie

Meet Hugo, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Hugo came to CCHS when he was abandoned just down the road from the Shelter with 8 other dogs. Hugo is a 4 year old neutered male Collie who weighs 64#.

He has the gorgeous light brown and white fluffy coat that you would expect for a Collie. He is probably the most handsome dog in the Shelter right now, just don't tell the others!

Not only is he gorgeous, but Hugo is a super nice dog too. He is a sweet and affectionate boy with a great outgoing personality. He is always so happy to see people and can't wait to spend time with visitors.

We do warn potential adopters that his coat will take some maintenance to stay looking so beautiful. But if that doesn't scare you off, please consider adding Hugo to your home and family. You can submit your adoption application for Hugo on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Hugo, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
