Marshfield Police Department Collects Almost 100 Pounds of Unused Medications During Drug Tack Back Event

The Marshfield Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Marshfield for supporting the Drug Take-Back Event, held on Saturday, October 26th.

Through the event, we collected 95 pounds of unused or expired medications and 64 pounds of sharps. Along with what was collected at the event, the total pounds of medications collected in the last six months was 360.8.

These medications were properly disposed of instead of being diverted to the street or ending up in our groundwater.
