The Chestnut Center for the Arts proudly hosts a free concert, Songs of Peace & Love: For All the People, featuring beloved performers David HB Drake and Julie Thompson, on Sunday, November 3rd from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM.
Get ready to tap your toes, sing along, and maybe even shed a happy tear. This special concert promises a delightful mix of classic songs spanning generations.
With iconic anthems of peace and love, beloved songs of your youth, and tunes to engage the young ones, this performance is guaranteed to leave you feeling connected and inspired.
David HB Drake, a renowned Wisconsin Folk Music Artist of the Year (2002), brings a wealth of experience and powerful storytelling to the stage. He has shared the stage with legends like Pete Seeger and Tom Paxton.
Julie Thompson, with her “voice beyond genre,” adds a touch of classical grace alongside her experience in folk, jazz, and even performances with the legendary band Foreigner.
Together, they create a truly unforgettable musical experience. Again, the concert is at the Chestnut Center for the Arts on Sunday, November 3rd from 1pm-2:15pm. It is a free concert, but donations are greatly appreciated and will be accepted at the door.
