Hera is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Hera

Age: 1-Year-Old

Breed: Black Lab

Meet Hera, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Hera came in as a stray from the Granton area with her Shepherd friend Apollo at the beginning of October. This gorgeous Black Lab is estimated to be a year old and weighs about 62.3 # currently.

She is very pretty with a short-haired coat that is all black and very sleek and shiny. Hera has quite the energy to burn! Her favorite hobby is playing catch with her tennis ball, and she brings it back quite nicely!

With how young she is, Hera would benefit from an active home that has the patience to meet her where she is at. She is quite the sweet girl and just wants to be involved no matter what you have going on.

She just can't wait to meet her new forever family! You can submit your adoption application for Hera on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Hera, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
