Marshfield Fire and EMS Responds to Man Seizing From Apparent Drug Usage

Marshfield Fire and EMS were dispatched to a 21 year old male who was seizing and bleeding from the mouth.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on October 21st, around 8:30pm, officers arrived and located a vape pen in plain view next to the male.

An Act 79 was conducted within the bedroom he was staying and more drug paraphernalia items were located. Through investigation, K9 Mario conducted a free air sniff of the male’s vehicle and alerted to the presence of a controlled substance.

Officers conducted an Act 79 on the vehicle and located various drug related items and suspected cocaine which later field tested positive. Probation was contacted and a hold was placed.

The male was arrested and transported to MMC for medical clearance, and later transported to Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.
