Two Seriously Injured in Vehicle vs Motorcycle Crash in Wausau

(Mitchell Skurzewski, WAOW) The driver of a motorcycle and the passenger of the motorcycle was seriously injured when colliding with a minivan in Wausau on Sunday.
According to Mitchell Skurzewski with WAOW, there were a total of five people in the minivan, but no one was injured in that vehicle. Just before 4:25 p.m. Sunday, Wausau Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a vehicle versus motorcycle crash on S. 3rd Avenue and Rosecrans Street, in the City of Wausau, according to a Wausau Police Department news release.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified to be 49-year-old Douglas Narlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. The 44-year-old female passenger of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries, according to the release.
The release also said: There were five occupants in the second vehicle, a minivan, with no reported injuries. The Wausau Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
