Clark County Historical Society Fall Business Meeting Is Nov. 2

The Clark County Historical Society will meet for their Fall Business Meeting at noon on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Stanley Area Historical Society at the museum at 228 Helgerson Street, Stanley, Wisconsin.
The general public is welcome to attend. The Clark County Historical Society is the umbrella organization that brings together people working in the various local historical groups throughout Clark County. After a potluck lunch, the officers of the CCHS and representatives of the individual history groups will report on their activities for the past season, as well as future plans. Vice President and Treasurer officers will be elected.
The Clark County Historical Society includes participation by The Stanley Area Historical Society, The 1897 Clark County Jail, The Colby/Rural Arts Historical Society, the Willard Historical Society, The Thorp Area Historical Society and Telephone Museum, Tufts Museum (Neillsville), The Loyal Area Historical Society, Friends of the Old School (Owen), Spencer Area Historical Society, and interested parties in Greenwood and Granton. The primary purpose of the CCHS is to encourage communication and sharing of information among the individual groups as part of the general mission to promote an appreciation of local history.
