Guava is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Guava

Age: 3-Years-Old

Breed: Red Heeler

Meet Guava, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Guava came to CCHS with her 8 puppies from a local farm. She is a 3-year old Red Heeler who weighs 35#. Guava is very pretty with her short-haired red and white coat.

Her 8 puppies (all named after fruits as well) look just like her. Guava is a sweet and happy girl. She has a very outgoing personality and is always excited to get out of her kennel.

She's very happy to now have a future that won't include having any more puppies! Guava is an active girl and as a Red Heeler she has lots of energy too.

So she would do best with a new family that has lots for her to do, so that she is kept busy, both physically and mentally. You can submit your adoption application for Guava (or one of her puppies) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Guava, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
