Medford Police Searching for Missing Man

(Chris Conley, WSAU) Medford Police are searching for a missing man.

According to Chris Conley with WSAU, Martevious D. Watts was last seen on Thursday, October 10th. He has been identified as the owner of an abandoned camping chair, fishing pole, and a pair of shoes that were left by the river near Medford City Campgrounds on Centennial Parkway on Friday, October 11th.

According to Medford Police, Watts’ family has not had contact with him since Thursday morning. Campers in the area reported seeing a man fishing with the since abandoned equipment Thursday afternoon around 3p.m.

An aerial and land search was conducted on Friday, but he was not found. If you have any information on Watts’ whereabouts, contact the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department at (715) 748-2200 ext. 5.
