(Thomas Schumacher, WSAU) A Weston man has been sentenced for stalking an ex and allegedly cutting the brake lines on her vehicle.
According to Thomas Schumacher with WSAU, Jeremy Jimmerson appeared in Marathon County Court on Wednesday. Investigators say he sent threatening messages to the woman following a break-up and also threatened to interfere with her child custody procedures.
A search of the woman’s phone also turned up text messages which implied that danger would be coming her way including one that told her to have a good weekend because her Monday "would not be pretty."
Several charges were dismissed and read in. He pleaded guilty to felon in possession of a firearm, stalking-domestic abuse, and 1st degree recklessly endangering safety-domestic abuse. He was sentenced to a total of 2 years in state prison and 5 years of extended supervision.
