Missy is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Missy

Age: 7.5-Years-Old

Breed: Short-Haired Brown Tabby

Meet Missy, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Missy was surrendered to CCHS when her owner was moving to Nebraska and she couldn't go along. Missy is 7 1/2 years old now, with an estimated date of birth of 12/10/16.

She is such a pretty girl with a short-haired Brown Tabby coat with gorgeous green eyes. Being a bit older, Missy is pretty mellow and is looking for a nice soft spot to call her own.

She's not overly thrilled with other kitties, so she would do fine as the only cat in her new home so she can get all the attention she wants. She has been at the Shelter since June, so she's ready to find her new forever home any day now.

Missy is a bit chunky, weighing 11.7#, so it would definitely do her good to have a new family to love. You can submit your adoption application for Missy on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out.  You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

This Saturday! The 2nd Annual Community, Crafts and Causes event is coming up on Saturday, October 5th, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Clark County Fairgrounds. There will be lots of crafters and local artisans to check out, and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for local food pantries.

Food concessions will be available from American Legion Post 73 - Neillsville. Best of all, there will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes, with all ticket sales benefitting CCHS!  We're really looking forward to it, and hope you are too!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Missy, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
