(Bob Hague, Wisconsin Radio Network) The latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association says home prices continue to increase, according to Bob Hague with the Wisconsin Radio Network.
Association consultant and Marquette emeritus economics professor Dave Clark, noting prices are up about 8%, said lower mortgage rates are likely to increase the number of new listings. Clark says lower rates can be beneficial for prospective homes buyers and sellers.
With fewer homes on the market, the statewide median rose to $324,000. Sales of existing homes were down just over 4.5% during the last 12 months.
