Coronavirus Numbers for December 17th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,548 positive cases, an increase of 24 over yesterday.  Of those, 150 are currently active.  Clark County has had 45 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 442,798 positive cases (an increase of 2,402 over the previous day) and 4,196 deaths, an increase of 74 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 19,510, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 5,504 positive and 63 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 8,600 positive and 66 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,096 positive and 6 deaths.

Marathon has seen 11,076 positive and 143 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,489 positive and 13 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,103 positive cases and 33 deaths.
