Corona is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Corona

Age: 9-Weeks-Old

Breed: Border Collie Mix

Meet Corona, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Corona came to CCHS with his 7 siblings from a local farm where there were too many puppies. They were all named after beers, somehow appropriate for being here in Wisconsin! Corona is a Border Collie mix and is 9 weeks old (date of birth 7/23/24).

We really have no idea what he's mixed with, but he's quite handsome with his white and black coat with just a little tan mixed in. He's rather little weighing in at 9.4#. But Corona has a big personality to make up for his small size. He's sweet and friendly and loves to be with people.

He's a playful little guy too, and will enjoy being a part of his new family. If that's you, please apply to adopt Corona today! You can submit your adoption application for Corona on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out.  You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Save the Date! The 2nd Annual Community, Crafts and Causes event is coming up on Saturday, October 5th, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Clark County Fairgrounds. There will be lots of crafters and local artisans to check out, and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for local food pantries.

Food concessions will be available from American Legion Post 73 - Neillsville. Best of all, there will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes, with all ticket sales benefitting CCHS!  We're really looking forward to it, and hope you are too!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Corona, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
