Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Participation in Conservation Aids Program for Fish and Wildlife

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved authorizing the County’s participation in the Conservation Aids program for the fish and wildlife program.

This will allow the County to potentially get state grant money to improve fish and wildlife habitat. The Board also approved moving the Annual Meeting in November earlier, from November 12th to November 7th due to tax filing purposes.

The board also approved participation in the Sustainable Forestry Initiative for the Clark County Forest and approving amendments to the Clark County Forest Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The Board also approved the disposition/sale of tax deeded properties. The Board also approved an amendment to the Clark County Code of Ordinances regarding Board, Committees, and Commission.

The Board also approved an appointment and they heard several reports including the 2023 Audit Report, the Clark County Economic Development Report, the 2023 Emergency Management Report, and the 2023 Sheriff’s Annual Report.
