One Woman Dead After Domestic Violence Incident in the Town of Auburndale

On Sunday, September 15th, Wood County Central Dispatch received information of an active disturbance.

Wood County Sheriff's Deputies, Marshfield Police Officers and Emergency Medical personnel responded to the scene. Upon arrival, a female was located in the roadway of Mcmillan ST and pronounced deceased. This is being investigated as a domestic violence incident resulting in the death of a female.

There is a 22 year old male in custody in connection with this investigation. The investigation in this case is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
