AUTHORITIES ELABORATE ON SHOOTING SCENE

Clark County Sheriff Louis Rosandich says investigators aren't ruling out anything as they investigate the death of a rural Granton woman.45-year-old Mary Frick suffered a single gunshot wound to the head.
Authorities found her dead in the kitchen of her Town of Lynn home Tuesday morning after a male individual called 9-1-1 to report a shooting. There were no obvious signs of a struggle.
At a press conference Thursday, Rosandich said Frick died one of three ways: homicide, suicide or accidental shooting.
She lived on Hill Road, southeast of Lynn. The male individual was described as an "acquaintance" who had been living at the residence for a number of weeks.
The man, who Rosandich said is not considered a suspect at this time, was questioned Tuesday morning.
"He was questioned at length by two of our detectives. This was done?I believe, within an hour," Rosandich said, "The person was very distraught, very upset."
While a forensic autopsy has been complete, investigators are still waiting for information before they make a final determination on the cause of death.
While he encouraged the public to offer factual information that may aid the investigation, he said detectives had been a "bogged down" by rumors and speculation.
He also said the public may have unreal expectations about how quickly investigations move.
"We all know there was a weapon involved. The weapon, as well as the crime scene, has to be seized, it has be taken to the State Crime Lab, it has to be analyzed,"
"Too many people watch too many CSI shows, folks."
Rosandich reiterated authorities don't believe the public is at risk.
