Clark County Humane Society Pet of the Week: Gracie

Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 -- 1:00 PM

Gracie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Gracie

Age: 2-Years-Old

Breed: Tabby

Meet Gracie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Gracie came to CCHS as a stray when she showed up at a home in Willard with six kittens in tow. Her kittens are adorable and will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks. But in the meantime, Gracie would like to find her new forever family.

She is a beautiful kitty with a very regal bearing. She has a short haired Gray Tabby coat with white trim and gorgeous golden eyes. She is 2 years old and weighs 6.8 #. Gracie is a sweet girl with a gentle personality. She enjoys being with people and likes to be petted a lot.

As you can see in her pictures, she's still young enough to enjoy playful activities too. She will be a wonderful addition to her new family! If that's you, please apply to adopt Gracie today! You can submit your adoption application for Gracie on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially kittens and puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Save the Date! The 2nd Annual Community, Crafts and Causes event is coming up on Saturday, October 5th, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Clark County Fairgrounds. There will be lots of crafters and local artisans to check out, and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for local food pantries.

Food concessions will be available from American Legion Post 73 - Neillsville. Best of all, there will be a huge raffle with amazing prizes, with all ticket sales benefitting CCHS! We're really looking forward to it, and hope you are too!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Gracie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
