Marathon County Man Sentenced for Child Sexual Assault

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Marathon County man has been sentenced for child sexual assault.
According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, Martin Raatz is accused of inappropriately touching several girls during the summer of 2022. At the time of the alleged incidents, he was on probation for an earlier conviction.
He was found guilty of repeated sexual assault of the same child back in 2015 and in 2016 he was found guilty of a misdemeanor for having sex with a child older than 16.
He was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, 1st degree child sexual assault. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to six years in prison and ten years of extended supervision.
