Marshfield Common Council Approves "Bookkeeping" Items Regarding Weinbrenner Shoe Deal at Brief Council Meeting

The Marshfield Common Council approved some “bookkeeping” items regarding the Weinbrenner shoe deal at a brief Council meeting Thursday afternoon.

The council approved a resolution authorizing sale of Lot 18 in Mill Creek Business Park to Weinbrenner Shoe Company, Inc. This was done as the title company asked for a specific resolution authorizing the sale and transfer, which was approved by the Council during a previous meeting. The Council also approved a request to approve the First Amendment to Purchase and Development Agreement with Weinbrenner Shoe Company, Inc.

This simply modified due diligence to the 6th of September and the closing date to the 9th. This was a result of the title insurance’s inability to get things done in the original time frame.
